Use | 4-nitro-l-phenylalanine is an organic intermediate that can be obtained by nitration of L-phenylalanine. 4-nitro-l-phenylalanine can be used for the preparation of important organic chemical intermediate 6-nitro-s-(-)-indoline-2-carboxylic acid. |
preparation method | L-phenylalanine 16.5g (mmol) was dissolved in 50ml of 85% H2SO4, it was added dropwise with stirring to a mixed acid of concentrated hno3-concentrated H2SO4(V/V:1.4/1.1) preconfigured and cooled to room temperature, and the reaction was stirred at room temperature for 5H, the reaction solution was adjusted to pH2-3 with 40% NaOH to produce a large amount of precipitate. The precipitate was filtered, washed with water until neutral, and dried under reduced pressure to obtain 4-nitro-l-phenylalanine. |
